Abstract
Suspension samples of human esophageal cancer cell strain Eca-109 Were treated, before or after 8,000 rad 60 Co γ-irradiation,with 44° or 42℃ for 30 minutes and then incubated in growth medium at 37℃ for 1.5 hours. The 44° treatment inhibited the DNA rejoining repair completely. The 42℃ treatment inhibited it by about 60%,and the uninhibited portion could be repaired during the 42°treatment after irradiation. The suspension samples of CHO-K1 cell were treated, before UV-irradiation (about 50 J/M2),with 44°or 42℃ for 30 minutes and then incubated in growth medium containing 3H-TdR (1μCi/ml) at 37℃ for 3 hours. The 44°treatment inhibited the DNA excision repair completely. The 42°treatment inhibited it incompletely.
